Office Manager
Job title: Office Manager
Reporting to: Directors
Location: Unit 1, Howden Industrial Estate, Tiverton. EX16 5HW
Hours: 15 Hours per week (minimum 2 hours a day)*
Days: Monday – Friday *Hours are flexible by arrangement with the potential for some flexible and home working following probationary period.
Wage: £10.75 per hour
Summary:
The role involves being ‘front of house’ contact for the Company in support of the sales department and for overseeing the smooth-running of the office. General administration responsibilities including customer correspondence, invoicing and telephone answering together with banking and other accounting and digital marketing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration
- Follow up all leads from telephone and website and input into our Repair Shpr CRM, progressing to opportunity stage in accordance with our sales process and scripts.
- Prepare all invoices and forward to customers for payment.
- Answer all telephone enquiries and follow through appropriately according to level of priority.
- Monitor pipelines, following up as required and progress customer responses.
- Following up emails and correspondence from customers.
- Maintaining resources of the office and holding a budget.
- Working closely with the Directors and Operations Manager as required to ensure the smooth running of business on a day-to-day basis.
- Support the creation of content for social media
Financial
- Complete invoices using our web-based accounting database.
- Reconcile accounts to Bank Statements, raise payments to suppliers
- Check payments, thank customers, pursue late payments.
- Bank any cash or cheque payments.
- Manage internal fuel and milage claims
Human Resources
- To support all staff, both in terms of financials, contracts, leave etc. Creating and filing staff holiday and sickness records and amendments to hours worked.
- To submit payroll information to the payroll company in a timely manner.
- To issue, renew and update staff contracts, as necessary.
- To regularly check Driving Licenses as required by Company Motor Insurance.
- To update team growth / handbook / policies as required.
- To assist with recruitment as required, potentially placing adverts, and completing all necessary documentation for new employees.

Devon Surface Care
- Location: Tiverton Devon
- Full Time: 7.30am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday
- £10.50 – £12.50 per hour plus benefits depending on experience and role.
Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and active individual to join our growing fun, hardworking and enthusiastic exterior cleaning & property maintenance team. We clean, service and protect residential driveways, patios, roofs and render as well as offering property maintenance and a full range of commercial services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Jet/pressure washing
- Driveway cleaning and sealing
- Roof cleaning & scraping
- Gutter, gully and drain clearing &cleaning
- Render cleaning including using soft washing equipment
- Refurbishment & minor repairs
- Customer liaison
You will:
- Be a team player but have the self-motivation to work on your own.
- Hold a full UK driving license with a low-level history of driver convictions or penalties. A license category B+E (trailer) an advantage.
- Have pride in your work with the ability to monitor the performance of yourself or other individuals to make improvements or take corrective actions.
- Preferably have previous site work, exterior cleaning or construction industry experience.
- Have at minimum a foundational knowledge of operating hand and power tools.
- Be great at engaging with customers with strong communication skills.
- Enjoy working outside with the ability to work at heights when required.
